Return & Refund Policy
1. Introduction
At (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to your satisfaction. We understand that buying a refurbished or pre-owned laptop requires confidence in both the product and the seller. This Return & Refund Policy outlines your rights and the steps for returning a product purchased from our online store (the “Site”).
This policy operates in addition to your statutory rights under UAE Federal Law No. (15) of 2020 on Consumer Protection, Federal Decree-Law No. 14/2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means (“Digital Commerce Law”), and their implementing regulations. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right or remedy you may have under applicable law.
2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return under any of the grounds below, your product must generally meet the following conditions unless stated otherwise:
- You initiated the return within the applicable return window specified in this policy.
- The product is in its original condition, with all accessories, manuals, original packaging, and any free items or bundled accessories included.
- The product has not been physically damaged, tampered with, or modified by you.
- For laptops: The device must not be locked with a personal password, PIN, or linked to a personal account (e.g., iCloud, Find My Device). You must unlock, deregister, and/or factory reset the device before returning it, as failure to do so renders the product ineligible and may violate data privacy regulations.
We reserve the right to reject a return if any of these conditions are not met, or to deduct an amount from the refund to cover any loss in value caused by your handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
3. Change of Mind (Non-Defective) Returns
3.1 Cooling-Off Period
We offer a 14-calendar-day cooling-off period for most products, starting from the date you take delivery. If you simply change your mind, you may return the product within this period for a refund, subject to the conditions and deductions below.
3.2 Specific Conditions for Change of Mind Returns
- The product must be in its original condition with no additional cosmetic damage, scratches, or marks beyond its graded condition at the time of delivery.
- The product must not have been used beyond what is necessary to inspect it (similar to how you might inspect an item in a physical retail store).
- All seals, plastic wrappings, and protective films must be intact. If the product was sealed with a tamper-evident security seal, that seal must not be broken. Breaking the seal on a refurbished product voids the change-of-mind return eligibility because the product can no longer be re-sold as the same grade.
- The return request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery.
3.3 Non-Returnable Items for Change of Mind
- Software, software licenses, or digital products where the seal has been broken or the code has been revealed.
- Products sold explicitly “as-is,” “clearance,” or “final sale,” which are clearly marked as non-returnable on the product listing.
- Any laptop where you have installed personal software, transferred personal data and failed to factory reset the device, or where the original operating system installation has been altered.
- Products that have been physically damaged by you or show signs of misuse.

4. Returns for Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
4.1 Your Rights
Under the UAE Consumer Protection Law, you are entitled to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and as described. If the product you receive is defective, not as described (e.g., wrong model, wrong grade), or damaged upon arrival (excluding minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with its graded condition), you have the right to return it, and we will provide a remedy in accordance with your choice and applicable law.
4.2 Return Period for Defects
- Dead on Arrival (DOA): If the laptop does not power on or has a critical functional failure on first use, you must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery. We will arrange a return and offer a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
- Material Defects: For defects that manifest after initial use but within the warranty period, please refer to the Warranty Claims section (Section 5). You may also be entitled to an immediate refund or replacement if the defect is reported within a reasonable period from delivery (generally 30 days), provided the defect is not due to your misuse.
4.3 Return Shipping Costs
If a product is confirmed to be defective, not as described, or damaged upon arrival, we will bear the cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a pre-paid return label or arrange for a courier collection.
5. Warranty Claims
5.1 Warranty Coverage
All refurbished and used laptops sold by us come with a warranty unless explicitly stated as “as-is.” The warranty duration (e.g., 3, 6, or 12 months) is clearly stated on the product listing and on your tax invoice. Our warranty covers hardware failures that occur under normal use and does not cover:
- Accidental or intentional physical damage (drops, liquid spills, cracked screens, etc.);
- Damage caused by power surges, improper use, or unauthorized repairs;
- Software issues, viruses, or operating system problems that were not pre-existing;
- Normal wear and tear, battery degradation below industry standards (typically a minimum of 80% health is guaranteed for used laptops), or cosmetic deterioration.
5.2 Warranty Claim Process
If a hardware defect covered by the warranty arises:
- Contact us via / with your order number and a description of the fault.
- We may perform remote diagnostics or ask you to bring the laptop to our service center, if applicable.
- If the defect is confirmed, we will, at our option: repair the product free of charge; replace it with a product of equivalent condition and specifications; or refund the purchase price (if repair or replacement is not viable).

We ensure the availability of essential spare parts for our products for a reasonable period, as required by the Consumer Protection Law.
6. Return Process
To initiate any return, you must follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at or call within the applicable return window. Provide your order number, the product you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA): Our customer service team will review your request and, if eligible, issue you an RMA number and detailed return instructions. Do not send the product back without an RMA number, as this will delay processing.
- Package the Product: Securely pack the product in its original packaging with all accessories. For defective returns, include any notes about the fault.
- Ship the Product: For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the return shipping cost and the risk of loss until we receive the item. We recommend using a traceable and insured courier service. For defective or incorrect items, we will arrange the collection or provide a pre-paid shipping label.
- Inspection: Once we receive the returned product, our technical team will inspect it to verify its condition, confirm the fault (if applicable), and ensure all eligibility conditions are met. The inspection is typically completed within 5 business days of receipt.
7. Refund Process
7.1 Method and Timing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of our receipt of the returned product and confirmation of its eligibility. We will issue the refund to the original payment method used for the purchase:
- Credit/Debit Card: The refund will be credited back to your card. The time for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank, typically within 5–7 business days after processing.
- Bank Transfer or Other Methods: We will coordinate with you to ensure the refund is credited securely.
7.2 Deductions
We reserve the right to deduct from the refund:
- The amount of any restocking fee for a change-of-mind return (as disclosed at the time of return).
- A proportionate amount to cover any diminution in the value of the product resulting from your handling beyond what was necessary to inspect it, or for missing accessories/parts.
8. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
🔋 Battery Health: For used and refurbished laptops, the battery is a consumable component. We guarantee a minimum battery health percentage (as stated on the listing, typically 80%), measured by a diagnostic tool. Battery degradation below that threshold within the return window or warranty period will be treated as a defect. Gradual capacity loss over time beyond the warranty period is normal wear and tear.
✨ Cosmetic Grade Discrepancy: If you believe the product’s cosmetic condition is not consistent with the described grade (e.g., it was listed as “Grade A” but has deep dents), you may return it as “not as described.” We will inspect and, if confirmed, offer a full refund or exchange.
9. Your Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights. Under the Digital Commerce Law, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent authorities, including the UAE Ministry of Economy and its Dispute Resolution Committees, if we fail to comply with our obligations.
